This volume constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 10th European Workshop on Knowledge Acquisition, Modelling and Management, EKAW '97, held in Sant Feliu de Guixols, Catalonia, Spain, in October 1997. The 20 revised full papers and 11 short papers presented were carefully selected from numerous submissions. Also included is one invited presentation.
