| Summary, etc | This thesis is based on the work done in the field of elementary particle interactions in the frame work of impulse or single particle exchange approximation. The thesis consists of 3 parts; Part 1 dealing with the study of Deuteron polarizations in certain reactions; Part 2 dealing with the scattering of pions from nuclei in the frame work of shell model; And Part 3 dealing with strong interactions, with a detailed study of isobar production in nucleon-nucleon collisions, where a generalization of the one pion exchange model. |
